The PCC (Parochial Church Council) is the elcted
body that assists with the running of Christ the Saviour. It is
elected once a year at the Annual General Meeting of the Church.
Members must be on the electoral role of the parish.
The PCC meets bi-monthly and discusses matters such
as the parish budget, the Church's Mission Action Plan, and other
areas of importance.
It also acts as a forum for discussion on certain
matters. It provides members for the governing bodies of both the
Church schools. Christ the Saviour elects three members on to the
Deanary Synod ( the local administrative area).
Two Churchwardens, as required by law, spend much
of their time caring for the building, in conjunction with the Church
Treasurer.
The Gilbert Scott
spire (1851) set against the GF Bodley sacristy (1904). Bodley served
as a pupil in Scott's office and was invited back to design the
extention and to beautify the Church.
