Christ the Saviour has a livley parsh life witha
variety of organised societies and groups, and plenty of less formally
oprganised groups! Important amongst these are:
The Mothers Union. Run by branch leader, Elnora Mann,
this plays a very active roll in the Church. It meets every month
on a Tuesday for a variety of activities. Membership is varied in
age, origin, and sex - men can be members too!
Guild of the Servants of the Sanctuary - This exists
to allow servers at the altar to have fellowship with one another
and to reflect on their task.
Cell of Our Lady of Walsingham - This, recently formed
group exists to spread devotion to Our Lady of Walsingham. Some
twenty five people meet bi-monthly for a variety of talks on Our
Lady, prayer, and time spent socially together. The cell has a weekend
pilgrimage to the Shrine once a year.
The Epiphany Party! An event after
Solemn Mass of the Epiphany for members of the Parish. Social time
spent together is important and allows us to get to know one another.
