Fr David Birt

After forty three years as a technologist in the Central Research Laboratory of the Electric and Musical Industries (EMI) at Hayes in Middlesex. Fr David was made deacon in 1986, and after a short residential course at Sr Stephen's House, Oxford, was ordained Priest in 1987. He has served as a non-stipendary Priest in the parish since. He "officially" retired a few years ago!

Fr David has had a life long interest in horology, with a paticular interewst in the history and development of turret clocks. He also serves on the Diocesan Advisory Committee for the Care of Churches both in Oxford and London as the clocks advisor.
