Catechism
The Catechism programe runs for young people every year. It acts for preparation for confirmation.
Catechism runs on a Saturday morning through September and November in preperation for the confirmation in early December. It begins at 9am with the Saturday morning Mass, at which the young people assist.
It continues with breakfast at 9.30am which varies from rolls and jam to a full english fry up!
From 10am there is a teaching session, ending at 10.45am.
The programe attempts to cover the basic areas of Christian beleif and to the help the young people think about their faith for themselves. The sessions are fun and livley and often include a lot of running around. It is expected that the young people will come to Church and will continue to do so after confirmation.
